Description

  • Build bots for WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and similar messaging platforms.
  • Design conversational flows, dialogue state, and fallback handling.
  • Integrate bots with LLMs for natural-language responses when appropriate.
  • Connect bots to backend services, databases, CRMs, and third-party APIs.
  • Handle webhooks, rate limits, and platform-specific message formats such as buttons, media, and templates.
  • Review AI-generated bot code and refactor it for correctness, reliability, and error handling.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms to keep bots healthy in production.
  • Design and ship complete bots independently for customer service, booking, order taking, content delivery, moderation, and notifications.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in backend, integration, automation, or bot development.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience building bots for WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, or similar platforms.
  • Strong command of Python or Node.js for backend bot logic.
  • Solid experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and async request handling.
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases for storing conversation state and user data.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic and prompt design is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of platform-specific limits, message templates, and approval flows, including WhatsApp template messages.
  • Experience with hosting and deployment using Docker, serverless, VPS, or PaaS.
  • Portfolio or examples of bots built is required.
  • English proficiency at Upper-intermediate level (B2) or above is required.
