Description

  • Design original computational data science problems that reflect real-world analytical workflows across industries such as telecom, finance, government, e-commerce, and healthcare.
  • Create Python-based problems that require libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Develop computationally intensive tasks that cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
  • Build problems that require non-trivial reasoning across data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and insight extraction.
  • Create deterministic problems with reproducible answers by avoiding stochastic elements or using fixed random seeds.
  • Base problem statements on realistic business challenges such as customer analytics, risk assessment, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Design end-to-end tasks spanning data ingestion, cleaning, exploratory data analysis, modeling, validation, and deployment considerations.
  • Incorporate big data processing scenarios that require scalable computational approaches.
  • Verify solutions using Python and standard data science libraries and statistical methods.
  • Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers in a realistic business context.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on data science experience with demonstrated business impact.
  • A portfolio of completed projects and publications showing real-world problem-solving ability.
  • Expert-level Python programming for data science using pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
  • Expert statistical analysis and machine learning knowledge with a deep understanding of algorithms, methods, and practical applications.
  • Expert-level SQL and database operations for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with GenAI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
  • Understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of modern frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
  • Strong written English proficiency at C1+ level.
  • Willingness to work on part-time, non-permanent, project-based assignments.
