Description

  • Design original computational data science problems that simulate real-world analytical workflows across industries.
  • Create problems that require Python programming with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Develop computationally intensive problems that cannot be solved manually within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Create problems that require non-trivial reasoning across data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and insight extraction.
  • Build deterministic problems with reproducible answers by avoiding stochastic elements or using fixed random seeds.
  • Base problems on real business challenges such as customer analytics, risk assessment, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Design end-to-end tasks spanning the full data science pipeline from data ingestion and cleaning to EDA, modeling, validation, and deployment considerations.
  • Incorporate big data processing scenarios that require scalable computational approaches.
  • Verify solutions using Python and standard data science libraries and statistical methods.
  • Document problem statements clearly with realistic business contexts and provide verified correct answers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on data science experience with demonstrated business impact.
  • A portfolio of completed projects and publications showing real-world problem-solving.
  • Expert Python programming for data science, including pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning, with a deep understanding of algorithms, methods, and practical applications.
  • Expert SQL skills and experience with database operations for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with GenAI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
  • Understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of modern frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
  • Strong written English at C1+ level.
  • Willingness to work on part-time, non-permanent, project-based assignments.
