Description

  • Design and implement robust, high-performance microservices and clean architectures as part of a migration to .NET 8.
  • Build and refine asynchronous, event-driven workflows using AWS SNS/SQS to ensure data consistency and system resilience.
  • Lead technical implementation and integration of LLMs into product workflows, bridging .NET backends with Python-based AI logic.
  • Collaborate on the design and delivery of high-throughput, real-time data pipelines using AWS Data Firehose and Data Streams.
  • Maintain a high bar for quality through test-first development, unit and integration testing with xUnit and WireMock.
  • Work closely with SREs to deploy services using GitHub Actions and manage infrastructure with Terraform.
  • Identify and resolve performance and reliability issues across the stack (e.g., race conditions in queues, Redis caching bottlenecks).
  • Use modern tooling (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate delivery while ensuring code security, correctness, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in C# and .NET (Core / .NET 8) with knowledge of framework internals.
  • Practical AWS experience building production services using SNS, SQS, S3, and ECS.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven patterns (Pub/Sub, competing consumers, idempotency).
  • Proven experience with caching solutions such as Redis (or Valkey) for state management and performance optimization.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with LLMs and Python; familiarity with RAG systems or integrating OpenAI/Anthropic APIs is a plus.
  • Test-first mentality with experience in unit and integration testing (xUnit, WireMock).
  • Familiarity with containerization and DevOps tools such as Docker, GitHub Actions, and Terraform; able to collaborate effectively with SREs.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) while maintaining oversight of security and quality.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally approximately 0%–15% as needed.
