Description

  • Partner with marketing and product teams to define business problems, metrics, analyses, and interpretations that support strategic decisions.
  • Lead the creation, monitoring, and iterative improvement of statistical models for marketing spend optimization and product growth.
  • Design clear narratives and data visualizations to communicate findings and model outputs to non-technical audiences.
  • Independently prototype, test, and validate new insights from hypothesis through rigorous analysis.
  • Evaluate modeling approaches and select combinations that fit specific marketing contexts.
  • Work closely with leadership and clients to communicate recommendations and influence decisions.
  • Contribute as a senior individual contributor on complex data science initiatives with significant independence.
  • Collaborate in an agile, self-organized team environment and help guide others through technical discussions.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience as a high-impact individual contributor in data science or a related field.
  • Expert proficiency in Python or R for working with complex, multi-dimensional data sets.
  • Experience with libraries such as CausalImpact and RStan.
  • Advanced SQL skills for manipulating and structuring data.
  • Hands-on experience across major cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and Snowflake environments is a nice to have.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives from raw data and communicate across all levels of an organization.
  • Self-starter with strong independence, creative problem-solving, and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Experience influencing product and marketing strategy through data-backed evidence.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 0%–15% based on project, client, and organizational needs.
