Description

  • Help design and implement strategies that drive new client growth.
  • Manage and lead Regional Vice Presidents to meet performance objectives and develop their potential.
  • Directly engage in high-value prospect and wholesaling opportunities alongside Regional Vice Presidents.
  • Coach, mentor, and train Regional Vice Presidents, including new team members.
  • Sponsor initiatives that improve the sales process, marketing materials, technology, and training.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Mercer Advisors and support partner and new client relationships.
  • Maintain relationships with key members of partner teams.
  • Ensure adherence to company performance standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to leadership committees, strategic initiatives, and corporate programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 15 years of experience building relationships with, mentoring, and managing financial services professionals.
  • Experience guiding teams, building culture, evaluating performance, recruiting, and maintaining clear and consistent communication.
  • Track record of helping sales professionals grow their practices in a client-centric model.
  • Experience communicating the benefits of a wealth management platform to potential clients and M&A partners.
  • Negotiation experience involving listening, persuading, and developing mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Strong decision-making, judgment, problem-solving, analysis, and project management skills.
  • Series 65, Series 66, or CFP credential.
  • Experience using CRM systems, with Salesforce preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel 40% of the time.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Base pay range of $170,000 to $200,000 USD.
  • Eligible for incentive compensation through Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs.
