Description

  • Meet with wealth advisors, financial planners, and other Wealth Solutions team members to review, fund, and maintain estate plans.
  • Review and summarize existing estate planning documents and recommend changes or additions based on legal and family circumstance changes.
  • Answer general estate planning questions from clients and advisor teams.
  • Serve as an in-house estate planning resource for wealth management teams nationwide.
  • Stay current on estate, trust, and tax legislation across the U.S.
  • Support business development through presentations and thought leadership publications when needed.
  • Manage a service specialist by overseeing day-to-day tasks, training, calendars, time management, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one state.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex estate planning topics to wealth management teams and clients.
  • 2-6 years of legal experience in estate planning preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Availability during standard business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional early or late hours as needed.
  • Ability to work in a professional office or dedicated home office workspace free of interruptions.
  • Ability to sit and stand routinely and lift no more than 10 lbs.
  • Experience with estate, trust, and tax legislation nationwide preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 USD.
  • Eligible for incentive compensation through Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs.
