Description

  • Hire, train, mentor, and develop 13 Financial Planners supporting Client Development.
  • Manage planner capacity, workflow, deadlines, and strategic plans to absorb future growth and increased demand.
  • Serve as a CFP® practitioner and produce prospect financial plans to support client acquisition.
  • Lead performance management, including accountability, capacity utilization, and high-quality output.
  • Develop KPIs, track performance, and prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior management.
  • Drive strategy development, execution, and reporting on sales-driven financial outcomes.
  • Design and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, automation, and quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and internal stakeholders to maintain strategic alignment and shared accountability.
  • Escalate critical issues and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Support a culture of seamless collaboration across a complex cross-matrix organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of financial planning experience.
  • Prior management experience is ideal.
  • CFP® certification is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of eMoney is required.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams/Zoom, and PowerBI.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong orchestration skills and the ability to coordinate across stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with high ownership and risk mitigation ability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and balance strategic thinking with execution.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $170,000 to $200,000 USD.
  • Eligible for incentive compensation through Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs.
