Description

  • Own and execute a territory plan across major oil and gas operators, NOCs, independents, and integrated energy companies.
  • Build and manage executive relationships with CIOs, CDOs, CTOs, COOs, VP Operations, VP Production, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Lead complex, insight-driven sales pursuits using Challenger and MEDDIC methodologies.
  • Sell the combined Mendix + RapidMiner platform across low-code, data engineering, AI/ML, model ops, and modernization use cases.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional pursuit teams including solution architecture, data science, industry experts, customer success, and global account teams.
  • Run technical validation, competitive deal strategy, and C-suite alignment for large transformation initiatives.
  • Drive net-new ACV, account expansion, and solution penetration across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
  • Manage pipeline quality, forecasting accuracy, and progression from discovery through value proof to contract negotiation.
  • Represent Siemens and the platform at industry conferences, executive roundtables, and other external events.
  • Mentor colleagues and support internal knowledge sharing on oil and gas sales best practices and value mapping.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience selling complex enterprise software in areas such as AI/ML, data platforms, cloud, integration, low-code, or digital transformation.
  • Proven track record of closing seven-figure enterprise deals.
  • Experience working with C-suite and senior stakeholders on long-horizon transformation programs.
  • Mastery of Challenger, MEDDIC, or equivalent sales methodologies.
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary, global pursuit teams through highly complex sales cycles.
  • Strong business acumen in industrial data strategy, AI, operational transformation, and modern application platforms.
  • Experience selling into oil and gas or other asset-intensive sectors such as energy, chemicals, utilities, or industrial manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience engaging OT and IT stakeholders in environments such as SCADA, IoT platforms, historians, and legacy control systems is preferred.
  • Prior experience with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft, Snowflake, Palantir, Databricks, ServiceNow, Appian, or Pega is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently on complex assignments and determine solutions, methods, and procedures.
