Description

  • Develop and implement test strategies and test cases for new and existing features.
  • Design, write, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to provide QA input early in the development cycle.
  • Identify, document, track, and help resolve software defects using bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Communicate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and report software health.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality and rapid feedback.
  • Perform regression testing and root cause analysis when production bugs are found.
  • Suggest process improvements that help prevent defects before they occur.
  • Use a detail-oriented, quality-first approach to support software delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
  • English proficiency is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
  • Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing.
  • Proficiency with Git and/or Bitbucket.
  • Excellent ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans and bug reports.
  • Experience with performance or load testing tools such as JMeter or Locust is preferred.
  • Knowledge of security or penetration testing principles is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for managing test environments is preferred.
