Description

Build high-quality, maintainable backend and frontend code in a balanced 50/50 split across Python, Node, Go, and React.
Collaborate with Staff Engineers and Product Managers to define and refine system architecture for a new product.
Design, develop, test, and maintain new features from concept through production.
Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Work closely with Product Managers to refine requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Contribute as a key technical voice in a fast-paced, agile environment where priorities may shift quickly.
Own complex features end to end, spanning database, backend, and UI layers.

Requirements

8+ years of professional software development experience building complex, large-scale applications; 14+ years preferred.
3+ years of strong professional experience with Python, Node.js, or Go in a production environment.
3+ years of strong professional experience with React, including state management, UI libraries, frameworks, and testing.
A proactive, self-starting mindset with a strong bias toward solving problems and getting things done.
A non-negotiable commitment to comprehensive testing.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred experience leading or co-leading system architecture decisions.
Preferred experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Preferred experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
Preferred hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

Benefits

Salary range of $90,000 to $95,000 USD, pending experience and seniority.
