Description

  • Architect and write maintainable backend code primarily in Python.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs with secure authentication and strong data modeling.
  • Build systems using serverless and event-driven architectures.
  • Own infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Manage containerization and CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments.
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance across SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Own the backend lifecycle from data modeling through cloud deployment.
  • Collaborate directly with product stakeholders and technical partners to align infrastructure with product needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
  • Deep expertise in the Python ecosystem, including Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Strong understanding of cloud development using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with event-driven and serverless architecture patterns.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Comfort with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to explain complex backend concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate fluently in English.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying in AWS is preferred.
  • Experience with JavaScript and Node.js is preferred.
  • Contributions to open source, technical blogs, or developer communities are preferred.
