Description

  • Architect and write maintainable backend code primarily in Python.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs with secure authentication and thoughtful data modeling.
  • Build systems using serverless and event-driven architectures.
  • Own infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation across cloud platforms.
  • Manage Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments.
  • Troubleshoot bottlenecks and optimize performance across SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Collaborate directly with product stakeholders and technical partners on backend decisions.
  • Own the backend lifecycle from data modeling through cloud deployment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional backend experience with strong Python expertise.
  • Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience building with event-driven and serverless patterns.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD experience is required.
  • Ability to explain complex backend concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate fluently in English.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying in AWS is preferred.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) is preferred.
  • Contributions to open source, technical blogs, or developer communities are preferred.
