Description

  • Lead, manage and drive the sales/growth team to develop and execute strategies that profitably grow revenues and expand the account base in target markets.
  • Develop, qualify and pursue pipeline through direct sales, cold outreach, co-selling and partnership initiatives to acquire new customers.
  • Drive accurate, timely forecasting and pipeline reporting to meet growth targets set by the Shanghai Managing Director.
  • Partner with marketing, pre-sales, partner management and professional services to maximize opportunities and deliver cohesive go-to-market strategies.
  • Design and implement account expansion strategies (identify white space) with the Shanghai MD and market leadership to expand within existing client relationships.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with prospects and current clients to influence decision-making and close deals.
  • Work closely with S4 cross-functional teams on prospective deals to ensure accurate bids, compelling value propositions and a frictionless deal environment.
  • Prospect, identify and develop cold leads and new business opportunities.
  • Act as primary client contact for campaign performance reviews, troubleshooting, training, product updates and implementation questions.

Requirements

  • Preferred 10 years of full-cycle sales experience with demonstrated career progression; minimum 5 years leading a sales or partnership development organization.
  • Proven track record negotiating and closing deals with senior-level stakeholders at major brands and enterprise organizations.
  • Established relationships (preferred) in the media and agency landscape and strong business development experience in prospecting and bringing in new business.
  • Experience working alongside producers, creatives and engineers and familiarity with digital content, platform sales or related businesses.
  • Knowledge of technology and strong product sensibility with experience leading creative discussions about innovative content and product offerings.
  • Ability to use measurement and analytics to demonstrate performance impact and position data effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in a measured, commission-driven compensation model with a history of achieving lead conversion and revenue targets.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence across large organizations and to develop strategic and tactical account plans.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills (remote and in-person); ability to articulate digital strategy, trends and challenges to clients and teams.
  • Traits: competitive and results-oriented (closer), highly organized, comfortable working cross-functionally, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and willing to travel as necessary.
