Description

  • Lead requirements discovery and translate business questions into data and measurement solutions.
  • Design dimensional data models and star schemas to support scalable reporting and self-serve analytics.
  • Design and model data across cloud data warehouses from marketing, web/app, and e-commerce sources.
  • Build BI dashboards and custom reporting experiences in tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Establish data quality, monitoring, documentation, and governance practices.
  • Partner with analytics and measurement teams on tracking approaches such as GA4 and GTM.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and influence roadmaps, estimation, and prioritisation.
  • Contribute reusable templates, data patterns, and dashboard standards to the wider APAC data capability.
  • Execute technical implementations across analytics and cloud data platforms.
  • Support capability building, innovation, and internal growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI engineering.
  • At least 1 year of client-facing delivery, consultancy, or agency experience.
  • Expert SQL skills, primarily in an ETL/ELT context.
  • Strong experience with dimensional modeling, warehouse design, and metric/KPI definition.
  • Experience with BigQuery and at least one other cloud data platform such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift.
  • Experience building BI dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Marketing Platform tools such as GTM and GA4 is preferred.
  • Experience with transformation and orchestration tools such as dbt, Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
  • Familiarity with enterprise BI platforms such as Looker or Datorama.
  • Understanding of the adtech, martech, and data landscape; CRM and CDP familiarity is a strong plus.
  • Some Python experience is favoured.
