Description

  • Design and build the agent orchestration layer, including workflow state, event-driven execution, and next-best-action logic.
  • Integrate LLMs through a provider-agnostic layer with structured outputs, tool-calling, retries, and model routing.
  • Transform unstructured inputs such as documents, transcripts, and records into structured data.
  • Build human-in-the-loop approval flows for decisions that require human oversight.
  • Set up evaluation and tuning loops to improve agent behavior based on evidence.
  • Collaborate with frontend, product, client, and domain stakeholders to ship end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience shipping production software.
  • Hands-on experience building LLM-powered or agentic applications, including tool-calling, structured output, RAG, and prompt iteration.
  • Comfort with orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph.js, Vercel AI SDK, or Mastra.
  • Experience with provider SDKs such as Anthropic and OpenAI.
  • Experience designing scalable systems on AWS.
  • Track record of working with unstructured data, including parsing, extraction, and validation.
  • Eval-driven mindset with experience measuring agent quality and iterating accordingly.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile consulting environment.
  • Experience shipping AI in regulated or high-stakes domains such as legal, health, or fintech (preferred).
  • Experience building eval harnesses for LLM systems (preferred).
  • Experience with voice or transcript pipelines, document-heavy workflows, or Next.js (preferred).
  • Writer.ai experience or open-source agent work (preferred).
