Description

  • Design, build, and maintain user experiences for external and internal customers.
  • Work on foundational, business-critical services that support the platform’s data flow.
  • Improve complex processes and systems to increase robustness and reduce human intervention.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to share knowledge and build expertise.
  • Develop ownership over system domains and make informed engineering tradeoffs.
  • Advocate for and delight internal and external users.
  • Direct AI agents across the development lifecycle, including prototyping, implementation, debugging, and code review.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive engineering work and improve code quality with AI tooling.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience building and maintaining software in production.
  • Experience working with Node, TypeScript, Kotlin, React, AWS, PostgreSQL, and Kafka, or a strong desire to work with these technologies.
  • Proficiency in using AI coding assistants such as Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor to accelerate development and improve code quality.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong desire to learn, think creatively, and share knowledge with others.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers and performing deep code reviews.
  • Proactive, empathetic, and hands-on problem-solving mindset.
  • Past experience working in startups and/or fintech.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $190,000–$230,000, depending on location, skills, and experience.
  • Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, and equity.
