Description

Design, build, and maintain user experiences for external and internal customers.
Work on foundational, business-critical services that support the platform’s data flow.
Improve complex processes and systems to increase robustness and reduce human intervention.
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to share knowledge and build expertise.
Develop ownership over system domains and make informed engineering tradeoffs.
Advocate for and delight internal and external users.
Direct AI agents across the development lifecycle, including prototyping, implementation, debugging, and code review.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive engineering work and improve code quality with AI tooling.

Requirements

6+ years of experience building and maintaining software in production.
Experience working with Node, TypeScript, Kotlin, React, AWS, PostgreSQL, and Kafka, or a strong desire to work with these technologies.
Proficiency in using AI coding assistants such as Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor to accelerate development and improve code quality.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong desire to learn, think creatively, and share knowledge with others.
Experience mentoring other engineers and performing deep code reviews.
Proactive, empathetic, and hands-on problem-solving mindset.
Past experience working in startups and/or fintech.

Benefits

Base salary of $190,000–$230,000, depending on location, skills, and experience.
Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, and equity.
