Description

  • Own product work end-to-end from problem discovery through shipped, measured outcomes.
  • Talk with users, customers, clinical operators, payer engineering teams, and integration partners to translate needs into engineering problems.
  • Write specifications or requirements and move work forward without waiting for a fully defined spec.
  • Make independent UX and design decisions for small to medium product choices and partner with design on larger ones.
  • Instrument shipped features and define measurable signals such as adoption, latency, error rates, and time-to-value.
  • Build full-stack services, APIs, data access, and front-end features as needed.
  • Use AI coding tools to accelerate prototyping, development, and iteration.
  • Build LLM-powered product features where they better solve user problems than deterministic code.
  • Define and maintain guardrails for PHI, auditability, and clinical determinism.
  • Maintain engineering quality through review, security, and reliability standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Track record of owning at least one feature end-to-end with measurable impact.
  • Strong full-stack engineering depth in C# / ASP.NET Core or a comparable modern object-oriented language.
  • Experience with a modern front-end framework such as Vue.js, React, Angular, or Svelte.
  • Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and async messaging.
  • Experience with SQL Server or another relational database such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Experience with Cosmos DB or another document/NoSQL store such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Firestore.
  • Experience with Azure Service Bus or another messaging platform such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS, or SNS.
  • Experience building cloud-native software on Azure or a comparable cloud platform such as AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with REST API design and OAuth 2.0 / OIDC.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-engineers, including customers, clinical operators, support teams, and PMs.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Preferred: experience with LLM evaluation practices such as offline golden sets, LLM-as-judge, regression detection, and online evaluation.
  • Preferred: experience building reliable production agent workflows, including tool error handling, state management, retries, and fallback design.
  • Seattle-based talent preferred for this role.

  • $96,000 - $135,000 base pay range.
