Description

  • Partner with product and design to identify the right research questions and define study scope.
  • Own the full research lifecycle, including planning, participant recruiting, moderation, analysis, and synthesis.
  • Design and run both qualitative and quantitative studies, including interviews, usability sessions, and surveys.
  • Select the appropriate research method based on the question being asked.
  • Share findings through clear readouts and digestible takeaways for different audiences.
  • Help shape the team’s research tooling and processes as the function grows.
  • Operate independently with minimal oversight to deliver research that the team can use.
  • Support fast-paced product cycles with timely insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of user research experience, including consumer products.
  • Experience designing and fielding surveys with sound methodology.
  • Strong interviewing and moderation skills.
  • Experience using AI-augmented research methods and tools.
  • Track record of running research end to end with minimal oversight, ideally as a contractor, consultant, or solo researcher.
  • Strong synthesis and communication skills that turn data into decision-ready insights.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with weekly ship cycles.
  • Experience in healthcare, tele-health, or another trust-sensitive consumer space is a plus.
  • Experience researching subscription products or conversion funnels is a plus.
  • Experience standing up research practices or tooling at an early-stage team is a plus.
  • Active US work authorization is required.
  • Must be located in an approved US state for this remote role.
