Description

  • Support centralized training and onboarding initiatives by assessing learning needs and developing user-centered enablement resources.
  • Collaborate with super users and peer support networks to gather feedback, share knowledge, and identify adoption challenges.
  • Conduct workflow observations, usability assessments, and user feedback sessions to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with long-term staffing analysis by evaluating user roles, workflow demands, and workforce trends.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback, document findings, and recommend human-centered solutions.
  • Support user adoption, training, onboarding, peer support, and overall system performance improvement.
  • Help improve workflow efficiency, system usability, and day-to-day clinical operations across healthcare technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in human-centered design, usability, workflow analysis, user adoption, training, or healthcare technology implementation.
  • Experience observing end users, gathering feedback, and identifying usability, workflow efficiency, or workforce readiness improvements.
  • Experience supporting software implementations, digital transformation initiatives, or healthcare information systems.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, interviews, focus groups, or user feedback sessions with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings and present recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience developing user guidance, job aids, training materials, or knowledge resources.
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user challenges and recommend process improvements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner), Epic, or other enterprise EHR platforms is preferred.
  • Experience supporting VHA, VA, DoD, or other federal healthcare organizations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows across inpatient, outpatient, or ancillary settings is preferred.
  • Experience with organizational change management, user adoption, or workforce enablement initiatives is preferred.
  • Knowledge of human-centered design, usability evaluation, and workflow optimization techniques is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements and inclusive design principles is preferred.
  • Experience supporting Super User, Peer Support, or End User Optimization programs is preferred.
