Description

  • Architect and own the full consumer lifecycle roadmap across pre-purchase, post-purchase, win-back, and healthcare-specific journeys.
  • Lead lifecycle go-to-market planning for new program launches from pre-launch nurture through post-launch retention.
  • Build and operate automated lifecycle flows in Braze across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels.
  • Maintain journey hygiene, integration health, and scalable Braze architecture as the product evolves.
  • Partner with engineering on event schema design, data triggers, Braze integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to draft copy and prototype designs, then route materials through content and design review.
  • Maintain and evolve a modular email design system to support fast and scalable production.
  • Design, run, and analyze A/B tests across subject lines, copy, timing, and flow logic.
  • Monitor funnel performance, identify drop-off and engagement gaps, and recommend product improvements.
  • Analyze member replies, unsubscribe signals, and engagement data to inform product, clinical, and content messaging.
  • Ensure lifecycle communications comply with HIPAA and other healthcare requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, clinical, and content teams to integrate lifecycle into the member experience.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, ideally in DTC health, wellness, or similarly trust-sensitive regulated categories.
  • Deep fluency across the full DTC lifecycle funnel, including acquisition nurture, abandoned checkout/consultation, onboarding, win-back, loyalty, and healthcare-specific journeys.
  • Proven Braze power-user experience building complex canvases, multi-step event-triggered flows, Liquid personalization, A/B experiments, and segmentation.
  • Strong technical and data fluency, including reading event schemas, writing trigger specs, and troubleshooting flow issues.
  • Experience leading lifecycle for new product or program launches.
  • Strong product instincts with the ability to translate lifecycle insights into roadmap recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of email deliverability, list hygiene, and domain authentication.
  • HIPAA-aware and healthcare-savvy communication skills for regulated health contexts.
  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate copy drafting and design iteration.
  • Strong analytical instincts for performance reporting and investment decisions.
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel for funnel analysis strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Customer.io strongly preferred.
  • Active work authorization in the US is required.
  • Strong preference for candidates based in San Francisco, though the role is remote and open to candidates in the United States.
