Description

  • Serve as a technical and payments advisor for customers throughout the tokenization life cycle.
  • Own technical implementation for customer integrations, including environment configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Help customers understand Marqeta’s platform and integrate quickly and successfully.
  • Become an expert on tokenization APIs and define best practices for deploying them.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues with customers and diagnose root causes of errors.
  • Act as a technical resource for delivery and onboarding teams and represent the customer perspective.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to improve onboarding processes.
  • Surface implementation learnings and customer feedback to Product and Technology.
  • Communicate technical guidance clearly while balancing best practices, regulatory constraints, and platform capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers in sales engineering, implementation, or technical account management.
  • Proficiency working with APIs and explaining API concepts to customers.
  • Experience with Bruno or Postman.
  • SQL and Datadog experience is a plus.
  • Ability to understand complex enterprise requirements and communicate technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to identify onboarding issues and develop scalable solutions cross-functionally.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple projects simultaneously on aggressive schedules.
  • Experience in the B2B technology space.
  • Strong understanding of payments, especially issuing, tokenization, networks, and point-of-sale.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Base salary range: $112,700–$140,900 for National and $122,000–$152,500 for Premium.
