Description

  • Lead the configuration and deployment of Marqeta’s standardized products and services for new customers.
  • Guide customers through their technical integration journey, with a focus on APIs.
  • Develop deep product expertise and create customer presentations, internal runbooks, and training content.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal teams to help improve the product based on real-world needs.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Product Managers, Sales, and Account Management to align on client goals and execution.
  • Manage projects independently and take initiative in solving technical and operational problems.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders across technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role such as solutions engineering, technical onboarding, or technical support.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and take initiative in solving problems.
  • Expert proficiency in REST APIs, Secure File Transfer Protocols (SFTP), SQL, and Datadog.
  • Comfort working across teams and building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and design practical solutions.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to connect day-to-day work to broader business goals and team priorities.
  • Commitment to learning and contributing to the growth of others on the team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Experience in financial services or payments-related environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with APIs, software integrations, or payments systems (preferred).
  • Experience with Marqeta or similar fintech platforms (preferred).
  • Ability to read technical documentation or basic code such as JSON, SQL, or scripting (preferred).
  • Background in training, enablement, or documentation (preferred).
  • Knowledge of customer onboarding or implementation processes in a SaaS or fintech environment (preferred).
