Description

  • Oversee the end-to-end student and faculty experience for the BSc (Hons) International Business and Trade programme.
  • Lead and manage the teaching, learning, and assessment team across the student learning journey.
  • Support faculty development and performance management to ensure continuous professional growth and programme alignment.
  • Collaborate with curriculum, learning experience, and quality assurance teams to review and redesign the curriculum.
  • Ensure the programme uses evidence-based pedagogical approaches aligned with student needs and institutional strategy.
  • Work with global experts to curate and maintain high-quality learning experiences.
  • Facilitate learning through class sessions, office hours, written feedback, and other teaching methods.
  • Lead annual programme reviews and implement improvements based on review findings.
  • Apply teaching and learning enhancements based on student feedback and quality assurance results.
  • Review LMS reports to identify students needing intervention and coordinate support with relevant teams.
  • Participate in assessment board decisions and contribute to Senate and sub-committees.
  • Carry out additional duties to support successful programme delivery.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related subject.
  • At least 5 years of experience in leadership development, experiential education, or a similar higher education role.
  • Proven experience in curriculum design, development, and quality assurance in higher education.
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability in team leadership, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational technologies such as Canvas.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise work, and work independently.
  • Experience in programme management and leadership at a higher education institution is desirable.
  • Experience with innovative learning techniques in higher education is desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and work effectively with ambiguity is desirable.
  • Openness to critique and curiosity to learn from other perspectives is desirable.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion is desirable.
  • A strong regional and international network, including industry and startup ecosystems, is desirable.
  • Additional industry or educational credentials in education, leadership, or entrepreneurship are desirable.
