Description

  • Work closely with the legal team and Attorney Auguy on immigration court cases.
  • Conduct legal research related to immigration court matters.
  • Draft technical legal documents and filings.
  • Organize and maintain case files with precision.
  • Support cases involving motions, removal proceedings, adjustment of status, notices to appear, habeas corpus, and detained clients.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and clients as needed.
  • Manage time effectively to handle multiple case tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics while handling sensitive immigration matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in immigration law, with a strong focus on immigration court cases.
  • Experience handling motions, removal proceedings, adjustment of status, notices to appear, habeas corpus, and detained clients.
  • B2-C1 proficiency in English.
  • Excellent legal research skills.
  • Experience drafting technical legal documents.
  • Strong file organization and case management skills.
  • Assertive communication and strong empathy toward the immigrant community.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, adaptability to changing legislation, and a strong teamwork orientation.
  • Strict professional ethics and confidentiality.
  • Preferred: candidates who are motivated to grow professionally and avoid stagnation.
