Description

  • Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective donors and supporters, serving as the primary contact for some relationships and supporting internal leads on others.
  • Develop and execute tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans, communications, and materials for donors and stakeholders.
  • Represent MLT at donor networking opportunities to identify, cultivate, steward, and solicit donor prospects.
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate a robust pipeline of prospective donors and stakeholders.
  • Design customized engagement plans that align with MLT’s financial goals and deepen stakeholder involvement and long-term commitment.
  • Take a holistic approach to stakeholder engagement by leveraging time, treasure, and talents to meet organizational and stakeholder objectives.
  • Build meaningful and lasting relationships through high-touch, audience-centered communication and active listening.
  • Project manage stakeholder strategies in collaboration with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Systematize MLT’s approach to engaging stakeholders across capital, connectivity, influence, and advice.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience identifying and engaging high-net-worth individuals and senior executives.
  • Experience building mutually beneficial relationships that generate revenue.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and incorporate input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to take ownership and find effective solutions with minimal direction.
  • Comfort with CRM systems and willingness to learn and frequently use Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Strong project management skills; experience with tools such as Asana is a plus.
