Description

  • Conduct timely inbound and structured outbound outreach to engage and re-engage prospective members.
  • Deliver script-based calls while adapting communication to each member’s context and needs.
  • Verify insurance coverage, collect eligibility information, and guide members through intake questionnaires.
  • Assess interest, support enrollment, and provide alternative resources to individuals who are not eligible.
  • Respond clearly and compassionately to member questions and enrollment concerns.
  • Complete administrative steps to activate enrolled members, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Accurately document outreach attempts, call outcomes, and enrollment status in EHR and tracking systems using HIPAA-aligned practices.
  • Coordinate warm handoffs with care managers and communicate enrollment updates to referring providers and partners.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency, spoken and written.
  • 2+ years of experience in outreach, care coordination, call center, sales, enrollment, or member/patient engagement; healthcare experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow call scripts while adapting tone and approach to different audiences.
  • Clear, warm, and persuasive phone presence.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and reliable follow-up documentation.
  • Comfort working with high call volumes and repetitive outreach cadences.
  • Experience using outreach or CRM tools, Google Workspace, Slack, or similar platforms.
  • Passion for maternal health, care access, and reducing health inequities.
  • Experience handling Protected Health Information and following HIPAA-aligned practices preferred.
  • Experience with EHR documentation and high-volume outreach queues preferred.
