Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services supporting the Jury Consulting business.
  • Partner with consultants, business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts, architectural decisions, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build and maintain applications, APIs, and services using the best-fit technologies for each problem.
  • Develop responsive user experiences using modern front-end frameworks when appropriate.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical planning, and mentoring.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production applications for reliability and performance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI capabilities, to improve engineering outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience supporting production-grade applications.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience designing, building, and deploying modern web applications and APIs.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong software architecture, system design, and engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and translating business requirements into practical solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development and modern AI tools.
  • Preferred: experience with .NET/C#, Node.js, React, Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Git, Docker/Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, AI/LLM integrations, data visualization, or regulated industries.
