Description

  • Conduct collections activities by calling and emailing customers to recover past-due payments.
  • Monitor and assess corporate account status, including accounts more than 180 days past due.
  • Follow Cash On Demand processes to support timely client payments and cash flow.
  • Generate and distribute monthly statements and account reviews to keep clients informed.
  • Maintain consistent client contact to support positive relationships and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage a designated client pipeline and ensure prompt follow-up on inquiries and escalations.
  • Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures to maintain ethical collection practices.
  • Identify accounts that need escalated attention and determine the best resolution approach.
  • Receive and process credit card payments from clients.
  • Explain complex billing charges clearly and maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of collections experience recovering past-due accounts.
  • Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate respectfully and assertively while building rapport with clients.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking while prioritizing workload.
  • Sound decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Windows/Outlook.
  • Typing speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Experience with Excel, including pivot tables, is a plus.
  • Prior call center experience is preferred.
  • Experience assisting with higher-level customer disputes is a plus.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
