Description

  • Own assigned portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for multi-entity subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and post recurring journal entries, including accruals, prepaid amortization, intercompany entries, deferred costs, and reserves.
  • Manage accounting for complex areas such as software capitalization, goodwill, and intangible assets.
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations in FloQast with current status and clean supporting documentation.
  • Prepare monthly fluctuation and variance analyses with clear commentary for finance leadership and ownership.
  • Support quarterly and annual audit requests by delivering organized, timely audit evidence and workpapers.
  • Review contracts and draft technical accounting memoranda and position papers when needed.
  • Support Workiva-based reporting packages, board materials, PE deliverables, and quarterly debt reporting.
  • Improve accounting process flows and design automation workflows to reduce manual work and improve data integrity.
  • Serve as a power user for NetSuite and help administer FloQast, RAMP, Workato, and other finance systems.
  • Partner with FP&A, Revenue Operations, HR, Payroll Accounting, Revenue Accounting, and FinOps on reporting, reconciliations, accruals, and data integrity.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accounting.
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience in a SaaS software company.
  • Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency accounting.
  • Hands-on experience in a PE-backed company with investor reporting, board packages, and rigorous close timelines.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with NetSuite.
  • Native or advanced proficiency with AI tools and LLMs such as Claude, Claude Cowork, and Claude Code, with real-world financial application experience.
  • Proven ability to develop, document, and continuously improve accounting process flows.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear, direct communication skills with the ability to translate numbers into a story.
  • CPA license or active CPA candidacy preferred.
  • Mix of public and private accounting experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with FloQast, Workiva, RAMP or another expense platform, Salesforce, and Workato preferred.
  • Proficiency with Slack and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Experience implementing contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
