Description

  • Work on operations tickets and the project task queue with the DevOps team.
  • Communicate with the Engineering team to roll out broad changes for customers.
  • Automate operational and server provisioning workflows using AWS CloudFormation templates.
  • Support deployment releases and other routine operations maintenance activities.
  • Enhance operations infrastructure, including Jenkins clusters, Bitbucket, monitoring tools like Consul, and metrics tools like Graphite and Grafana.
  • Provide operational support to the broader Engineering team.
  • Help migrate remaining dedicated hardware infrastructure to the cloud.

Requirements

  • Conceptual understanding of version control systems, including Git branching and merging strategies.
  • Conceptual understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Conceptual understanding of Snowflake.
  • Exposure to software build tools such as Maven or Gradle and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Must have supported Java-based applications in a production environment.
  • Conceptual understanding of Linux environments.
  • Conceptual understanding of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy.
