Description

  • Build machine learning and generative AI platforms used across the company.
  • Create backend infrastructure for scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions.
  • Develop services that expose machine learning and AI-based products.
  • Deploy and manage applications in production.
  • Write code daily as part of the engineering workflow.
  • Take ownership of work and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members.
  • Collaborate with therapists, data scientists, engineers, and product managers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience delivering production-ready products.
  • Strong ability to write high-quality Python code.
  • Experience with modern async Python web frameworks such as FastAPI.
  • Experience handling data streaming with WebSockets and Server-Sent Events.
  • Experience with Docker and deploying applications to Kubernetes.
  • Experience with relational and low-latency databases.
  • Experience building RAG-based AI solutions.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining vector databases.
  • Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
  • Experience integrating with foundation model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Comfort building systems from scratch.
  • Thoughtful approach to balancing quality and deadlines in fast-paced settings.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build consensus and alignment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to distill complex problems into clear priorities.
  • Preferred: experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or AWS Neptune and GraphRAG-style systems.
  • Preferred: experience with LLM observability and monitoring tools such as Langfuse.
  • Preferred: experience with Celery.
  • Preferred: experience defining and using Protobuf messages.
  • Preferred: experience writing production code in Java or Kotlin.
  • Preferred: experience building solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Preferred: experience working with highly sensitive data in a healthcare environment.
