Description

  • Serve as a hands-on technical leader for a small engineering team designing, developing, and deploying core product functionality.
  • Manage, scale, and develop the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and behavioral health specialists to align on priorities and delivery.
  • Ensure best practices are followed throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
  • Guide technical decisions, architecture, and long-term platform evolution.
  • Develop, mentor, and motivate engineers while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software with a strong focus on outcomes.
  • Balance short-term execution with long-term technical strategy to support company growth.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of overall experience, including 1+ years of management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Experience developing enterprise or consumer web applications.
  • Excellent communication skills across a diverse range of audiences.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Strong bias to action.
  • Passion for Lyra’s mission and transforming mental health care.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies, particularly agentic development, applied to healthcare, personalization, or workflow automation.
  • Prior startup experience is a bonus.
  • Experience with SSO, integrations, and partnerships is preferred.
