Description

  • Own the render pipeline for AI Social from input data to finished media.
  • Develop and refine prompts, structured outputs, tool-calling, and agent loops for generative media workflows.
  • Collaborate with product, content strategy, engineering, and design partners to ship new AI Social experiences.
  • Evaluate and improve the visual quality and polish of generated media.
  • Build reusable systems and templates that can scale across many customer posts.
  • Move between exploratory proof-of-concept work and customer-ready production work as needed.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools in the day-to-day workflow and experiment with new prompt techniques.
  • Lead through craft and influence as a hands-on individual contributor.

Requirements

  • Solid working knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-driven systems, including prompts, structured outputs, tool-calling, agent loops, and evals.
  • At least one shipped generative media project in image, video, voice, or music that has been used by someone other than the creator.
  • A portfolio or body of work demonstrating both technical depth and design sensibility.
  • Formal or self-taught grounding in design, visual art, film, or motion.
  • Comfort working with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools; the team expects fluency with Claude Code.
  • Familiarity with MCPs and integrations involving Figma, Notion, and Linear in AI-assisted workflows.
  • A creator practice or public ongoing body of work is a bonus, such as a feed, portfolio, side project, YouTube channel, or Are.na.
  • Comfort collaborating with non-engineers across product, design, and content strategy.
  • This is a hands-on IC role; you will not be managing people on day one.
  • Experience with Node, TypeScript, React, Postgres, AWS, and Temporal is relevant.
  • Experience with major model SDKs and media tools such as Veo, ElevenLabs, Shotstack, and headless browser rendering is relevant.
