Description

  • Manage and develop the customer billing support and billing QA teams.
  • Set expectations, coach performance, and drive accountability across the billing function.
  • Build scalable billing processes, documentation, and playbooks.
  • Own the end-to-end order-to-cash billing process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the billing platform partner.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies and work with billing QA to identify root causes and improve accuracy.
  • Partner with internal teams and the billing vendor to resolve billing issues and implement fixes.
  • Lead resolution of client escalations, payment disputes, credits, and refunds.
  • Own collections efforts, including overdue invoices, deactivations, and bad debt tracking.
  • Build reporting on billing performance, collections, and client health, and share insights with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, or a related function, preferably in a SaaS or subscription business.
  • Experience managing teams and driving accountability against service levels and performance expectations.
  • Experience with an AI-native billing platform preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach.
  • Strong critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly as priorities and business needs change.
  • Comfort working across billing systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Tabs, Rillet, PandaDoc, Stripe, Notion, and Slack preferred but not required.
