Description

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid Motors vehicles.
  • Repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
  • Maintain working knowledge of high-voltage, low-voltage, and general EV systems.
  • Follow correct repair order documentation procedures, including the Three C's.
  • Use the appropriate software suite to document all customer vehicle interactions.
  • Communicate and collaborate with advisors, managers, customers, and other service team members.
  • Teach and demonstrate technical skills and knowledge to others.
  • Support mobile service operations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage systems, low-voltage systems, and electric vehicle powertrains.
  • Customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
  • EPA 609 Certification.
  • Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training after hire.
  • Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.
  • Drivers under 21 must have held a driver’s license for at least 3 years and complete Lucid training upon hire.
  • ASE certifications obtained within 6-8 months of hire date (required after hire; Lucid reimburses the cost).
  • ASE certifications A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, and L4-ADAS are preferred.
  • Experience in luxury automobile repair environments is preferred.
