Description

  • Drive day-to-day execution of Cyclops solid rocket motor development across engineering, integration, and test teams.
  • Maintain internal schedules, resource plans, critical paths, and cross-functional work coordination.
  • Manage development priorities and workflow while maintaining technical rigor and execution pace.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager to align internal execution with customer commitments, contractual milestones, and reporting.
  • Track and document engineering decisions, trade studies, design changes, and integration plans.
  • Partner with discipline leads to resolve roadblocks, accelerate hardware development, and maintain configuration stability.
  • Ensure engineering artifacts, procedures, and configurations are ready for integration and test activities.
  • Track and communicate technical risks, schedule drivers, and dependencies, escalating issues affecting safety, reliability, or mission readiness.
  • Align development activities and schedules with systems engineering requirements, architecture, ICDs, and verification plans.
  • Build scalable project-management processes, templates, and execution models for future programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience in complex aerospace or defense development.
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering project management, integration leadership, or technical project execution.
  • Experience coordinating engineering teams, managing schedules, and driving technical development cycles.
  • Experience with engineering workflow management, development planning, and cross-functional technical coordination.
  • Ability to interpret engineering artifacts, requirements, and configurations and translate them into schedules and resource plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment combining private development with government test requirements.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, including the ability to surface risks and align teams across disciplines.
  • Experience partnering with chief engineering, systems engineering, and mission assurance teams.
  • Solid rocket motor development, integration, manufacturing, test, or readiness experience (preferred).
  • U.S. person status required to access export-controlled information under ITAR/EAR.
