Description

  • Own end-to-end funnel analysis across product areas to identify drop-off points and conversion opportunities.
  • Analyze user journeys across activation, engagement, retention, and conversion to uncover friction points by cohort and segment.
  • Partner with Product teams to prioritize, measure, and support funnel improvement initiatives.
  • Define and track customer value metrics and business KPIs, then translate them into actionable product signals.
  • Create dashboards that show how product changes affect customer value and business outcomes.
  • Design, run, and interpret A/B tests focused on improving funnel conversion rates.
  • Propose new experiments to uncover customer value levers and optimize conversion.
  • Develop and maintain data models in dbt, including incremental models, snapshots, documentation, tests, and macros.
  • Apply data modeling best practices and optimize BigQuery queries for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably in SaaS or product analytics.
  • Proven experience in funnel analysis and optimization with a track record of improving conversion rates.
  • Strong A/B testing experience, including experiment design and statistical significance analysis.
  • Strong business acumen and project management skills, with the ability to define scope and execute autonomously.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, including window functions and query optimization.
  • Experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Metabase.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.
  • Python experience for data analysis and automation is a plus, along with cohort analysis and customer segmentation knowledge.
  • Experience in SaaS, vacation rental, or travel tech is a plus.
  • Familiarity with growth frameworks and product-led growth strategies is a plus.
