Description

  • Generate and manage sales opportunities from account managers, BDRs, direct outreach, and marketing campaigns.
  • Run the full sales cycle from qualification and value presentation through pricing negotiation and contract closure.
  • Partner with onboarding teams to ensure a smooth merchant transition and launch onto Lightspeed Payments.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on payment processing for other teams and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Collect merchant feedback and relay it to product management teams.
  • Drive adoption of Lightspeed Payments within the existing Australian merchant base.
  • Support the transition of current POS customers to the proprietary integrated payments solution.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of direct experience in the payment processing industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in a closing role focused on technology or solution sales.
  • Proven ability to proactively generate and qualify new opportunities.
  • Documented success in a revenue target or quota-based environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • French language skills are considered an asset.
