Description

  • Design, configure, develop, and implement baseline and custom ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
  • Work independently and as part of a technical team across multiple instances and domains.
  • Use Agile/Scrum practices to manage development work.
  • Advise functional and admin teams on ServiceNow design, development, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business, systems, and technology partners to define business and system requirements.
  • Develop enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications.
  • Write ServiceNow scripts including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, and Workflow Activities.
  • Support the rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow.
  • Analyze system performance issues and recommend performance improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
  • Strong working knowledge of the ServiceNow suite, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident, and Knowledge Base.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as an independent developer.
  • Experience with IT Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, ITIL/ITSM, and PMP/PRINCE2 practices.
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum project teams.
  • Experience applying system/software engineering lifecycle principles and translating requirements into functional and technical solutions.
  • Experience with application implementation and support, enterprise monitoring, and large data sets/data analysis/modeling.
  • U.S. citizenship is required and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance is necessary.
  • ServiceNow CAD (Certified Application Developer) is preferred.
