Description

  • Lead solutioning, planning, and execution of long-term technical strategy.
  • Define architectural standards and drive organization-wide architectural direction.
  • Advise engineering leadership and executives on technical strategy and recommendations.
  • Explore early-stage ideas and proofs of concept to reduce risk before staffing or scoping.
  • Coach and support the design and development of complex systems and products.
  • Mentor senior and staff-plus engineers across teams.
  • Drive cross-team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and engineering craftsmanship.
  • Deliver complex cross-organization projects with company-wide impact.
  • Champion AI adoption across engineering and product efforts.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide senior technical support for production incidents.
  • Translate complex technical concepts for clinical, product, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to turn goals into technical architecture and requirements.
  • Estimate technical scope and timelines for large, cross-team initiatives.
  • Build scalable, stable, efficient, maintainable, and extensible technical solutions.
  • Shape engineering process strategy and foster a strong learning culture.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in systems, architecture, and technical design.
  • Track record of setting technical strategy across multiple engineering teams.
  • Experience defining architectural standards and mentoring engineers.
  • Strong understanding of front-end applications, APIs, and back-end services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React.
  • Experience delivering mobile digital products to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • React Native experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of full web and mobile application layers.
  • Experience using AI as a transformative technology.
  • Experience hosting application services on AWS.
  • Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong collaboration and coaching skills with demonstrated success developing other engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills for non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and exploring early-stage ideas.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment.

  • Base salary range of $200,000 to $220,000.
  • Annual bonus incentive.
