Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of high-performance backend systems for ad creative generation.
  • Develop end-to-end image and video editing engines with APIs and logic for complex asset manipulation.
  • Build infrastructure that connects ad performance signals such as CTR and CVR to creative generation workflows.
  • Optimize model orchestration for high-concurrency inference, low latency, and cost-efficient scaling.
  • Design and maintain content filtering and compliance middleware to prevent unsafe or non-compliant content.
  • Partner with Product, UX, and Ads ML leadership to define the technical roadmap and translate business goals into technical designs.
  • Build integrations into the Ad Manager UI and delivery stacks.
  • Raise code quality, reliability, and documentation standards through design reviews and engineering guardrails.
  • Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to technical alignment across the team.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience architecting and scaling distributed backend systems using Python, Go, or similar languages.
  • Proven experience designing robust microservices and APIs.
  • Strong experience bridging machine learning models and production software.
  • Experience with model serving and resilient data pipelines for LLMs and VLMs.
  • Experience optimizing infrastructure for real-time generative workflows.
  • Ability to translate advertiser and business needs into scalable technical roadmaps.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build consensus across Product, Design, and ML teams.
  • Experience leading design and code reviews and mentoring junior or mid-level engineers.
  • Proven experience building complex asset-heavy systems such as automated image/video processing pipelines or high-scale content creation workflows.
