Description

  • Turn rough ideas, sketches, and informal docs into clickable prototypes quickly, often within the same day.
  • Build prototypes for core product surfaces including maps, widgets, Live Activities, voice, and in-app moments.
  • Make polished UI decisions without waiting for full design specifications.
  • Participate directly in product direction discussions and challenge ideas when something does not feel right.
  • Work closely with design, product, and the founder as part of the creative process.
  • Use AI tools to generate code, write tests, and review work.
  • Ship experiments to test groups, observe real usage, and iterate based on feedback.
  • Help define what the first working version should look like and what can be learned from it.

Requirements

  • Deep experience building consumer mobile or web products used by real people.
  • Zero-to-one stage experience and interest in doing that type of work again.
  • Strong design taste and the ability to explain why one product or interface works better than another.
  • Ability to move from a blank screen to a working prototype without heavy guidance.
  • Deep experience in at least one of React, Swift, or Kotlin, with comfort shipping in another.
  • Hands-on AI-native workflow experience with tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, or equivalent.
  • Experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context window management, and MCP/function calling.
  • Self-starter mindset and comfort working without traditional specs or detailed process.
  • Bonus: map-based or location-driven product experience, especially with spatial UI challenges.
