Description

  • Write and ship production AI code daily as an active contributor.
  • Architect stateful, multi-agent AI workflows using LangGraph, Temporal, and Pydantic.
  • Own AI observability using LangFuse, including tracing, prompt versioning, evaluation, and benchmarking.
  • Set engineering standards for agent design patterns, RAG, prompt management, context optimization, and tool-calling strategies.
  • Partner with product and platform teams to deliver AI architectures that meet enterprise SLA, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging AI tooling, orchestration frameworks, and model providers.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and design discussions.
  • Represent Acquia’s AI capabilities in customer architectural reviews, technical discovery, and roadmap conversations.
  • Drive the technical evolution of Acquia DAM, including AI features such as auto-tagging, facial recognition, duplicate detection, and natural language search.
  • Help shape upcoming roadmap themes around autonomous asset governance, agentic orchestration, and smart visual transformations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in production AI agents.
  • Hands-on experience with LangGraph, Temporal, and Pydantic for enterprise-scale agent workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with LangFuse for tracing, evaluation, prompt management, and dataset-driven testing.
  • Proficiency with agent harness frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
  • Deep Python proficiency and strong engineering fundamentals, including testing, CI/CD, and architecture.
  • Cloud AI deployment experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containerization and inference cost management.
  • Knowledge of RAG architecture, including vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval strategies.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS or CMS environments, ideally including Drupal-based DXP platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
  • Experience with persistent agent runtimes and cross-session memory concepts, such as OpenClaw or Hermes Agent.
  • LLM fine-tuning or model evaluation experience, plus awareness of foundational model tradeoffs.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present AI system design to both engineers and C-suite stakeholders.
  • A senior IC track record with high-quality code and system designs.
  • Experience with human-in-the-loop and interrupt-driven agent design.
