Description

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for authentication, authorization, registration, access, sessions, credentials, and CIAM integrations across platforms.
  • Design secure, user-friendly account management and recovery experiences.
  • Partner with Security to prevent account takeover, credential stuffing, phishing, SIM-swap, and social engineering threats.
  • Lead adoption of passkeys, passwordless and phishing-resistant authentication, risk-based authentication, and device-bound sessions.
  • Design identity experiences for 180+ countries, including regional phone, carrier, device, localization, cost, and regulatory considerations.
  • Address family-specific identity needs, including minor accounts, age assurance, parental consent, circle membership, and privacy controls.
  • Define identity and trust KPIs, telemetry, fraud signals, and detection strategies.
  • Translate threat models, incident learnings, and identity data into executive-level priorities and investment decisions.
  • Align Engineering, Security, Legal, Privacy, Customer Care, Growth, Subscriptions, and Partnerships around identity initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including significant principal- or staff-level cross-functional scope.
  • Deep experience owning consumer identity, authentication, account security, or trust products at scale.
  • Cybersecurity expertise covering threat modeling, account takeover, fraud, abuse, MFA, passkeys/FIDO2/WebAuthn, OAuth/OIDC, session management, and credential security.
  • Experience owning backend identity services and APIs alongside mobile and web login, onboarding, and recovery experiences.
  • Experience launching and operating identity flows across countries, regulatory environments, languages, devices, and carriers.
  • Working knowledge of NIST 800-63, GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA; minors’ accounts or age assurance experience preferred.
  • Experience aligning large, matrixed organizations across Engineering, Security, Legal, Privacy, and Customer Support.
  • Strong analytical, experimentation, written communication, executive communication, ownership, and bias-for-action skills.
  • Experience with global consumer applications serving tens or hundreds of millions of users preferred.
