Description

  • Track global market events and cryptocurrency trends around the clock, including macroeconomic developments that may affect market movements.
  • Research emerging narratives, trends, and trade ideas using a logical, data-driven approach.
  • Monitor current market conditions, ongoing trades, and key news stories to identify what may influence sentiment and direction.
  • Conduct sentiment analysis across platforms and communities to understand where market attention is focused.
  • Identify the key question or topic of the day and help shape the narrative for each daily show.
  • Collaborate with the team to curate, design, and refine daily scripts, documentation, and show narratives.
  • Provide actionable research, trade setups, and commentary directly in Discord threads for the community.
  • Attend and contribute to research-focused calls as needed.
  • Implement business suggestions and strategies as the role evolves.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a crypto research-focused role.
  • Deep, hands-on understanding of cryptocurrency markets, narratives, and culture.
  • Strong logical and data-driven research and analysis skills.
  • Ability to connect macroeconomic developments to crypto market movements.
  • Experience analyzing sentiment across social platforms and crypto communities.
  • Ability to turn complex research into clear, concise scripts, documentation, and narratives for a live audience.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, 24/7 environment and flexing hours around the market.
  • Remote-first availability from anywhere in the world, aligned to South African Standard Time (SAST).
  • Willingness to research outside traditional hours to stay ahead of crypto market developments.
