Description

  • Build, deploy, and maintain GCP environments using Compute Engine, GKE, and Cloud Run, including Red Hat Linux and Windows virtual machines.
  • Develop reusable Terraform modules that enforce secure cloud configurations.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Administer GCP IAM roles and policies, including Workload Identity Federation for keyless external authentication.
  • Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to meet service-level and performance targets.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, GKE, and CI/CD pipeline issues.
  • Create architecture diagrams, runbooks, SOPs, and compliance artifacts.
  • Provide hands-on cloud implementation and operational support to application and project teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or 10 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 6+ years of experience configuring and using GCP operational tools for service levels, performance, and compliance.
  • 3+ years of hands-on GCP engineering experience, including troubleshooting infrastructure, networking, GKE, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Compute Engine, including Red Hat Linux and Windows; GKE; Cloud Run hosting Python services; and GCP IAM.
  • Proficiency with Terraform reusable modules and CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience producing architecture diagrams, runbooks, SOPs, and compliance artifacts in federal-framework environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust background investigation.
  • U.S. citizenship and at least 3 years of physical residence in the United States.
  • Active Public Trust clearance, Google Cloud certification, and federal health program experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of FedRAMP, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, CIS benchmarks, zero trust, other cloud platforms, Red Hat OpenShift, VM image management, or vulnerability remediation (preferred).
