Description

  • Design and maintain GCP landing zones compliant with FedRAMP High and NIST requirements.
  • Lead technical assessments for pilots and new workloads, recommending architectures and production paths.
  • Plan and lead application and data migrations from on-premises environments and other clouds to GCP.
  • Design secure hybrid connectivity for cloud migrations.
  • Champion Terraform-based infrastructure as code to deliver repeatable, version-controlled, compliant environments.
  • Establish cloud cost optimization, governance, and resource-tagging practices.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, application teams, and project teams to operate and modernize cloud applications.
  • Set the technical direction for new cloud workloads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, solution engineering, enterprise architecture, or related technical roles.
  • Experience designing, governing, and integrating secure GCP solutions and FedRAMP High/NIST-aligned landing zones.
  • Experience with GCP network architecture, including Network Connectivity Center, multi-VPC designs, HA Cloud VPN, Interconnect, and TIC-compliant designs.
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems with GKE and serverless platforms and migrating applications and data to GCP.
  • Strong Terraform proficiency and hands-on experience with cloud cost optimization, governance, and resource tagging.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust federal background investigation.
  • U.S. citizenship and at least 3 years of physical U.S. residence.
  • Google Cloud Professional certification, active Public Trust, federal health experience, and knowledge of FedRAMP, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, CIS benchmarks, zero trust, other cloud platforms, container security, PKI, or Ansible are preferred.
