Description

  • Own editorial strategy across owned channels, including the website, blog, podcast, newsletter, social, and sales enablement.
  • Develop and maintain a 90-day content calendar aligned to go-to-market priorities, active verticals, events, conferences, and sales needs.
  • Translate internal expertise into differentiated thought leadership that is credible to practitioners, buyers, and clients.
  • Build repeatable content systems, including workflows, templates, briefs, review loops, and production processes.
  • Use AI tools to support research, drafting, repurposing, summarization, content scoring, search optimization, and distribution planning.
  • Guide web content strategy for vertical pages, service pages, campaign landing pages, and other key site assets.
  • Optimize content for traditional search and AI-driven discovery platforms such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
  • Own the strategy, standards, production, and publishing cadence for case studies, including Level’s CAISR format.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leaders to create sales enablement assets such as one-pagers, decks, objection-handling content, and competitive positioning materials.
  • Coordinate with account leads, strategists, subject matter experts, clients, freelancers, contractors, and internal teams to publish accurate, approved, on-brand content.
  • Repurpose podcasts, events, case studies, internal expertise, and campaign learnings into content across multiple formats and channels.
  • Maintain Level’s voice, standards, accuracy, and credibility across all published content.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of content experience, including at least 2 years in a strategy, senior individual contributor, or team lead role.
  • Strong writing skills and editorial judgment with the ability to turn complex ideas and data into clear narratives.
  • Experience owning content strategy, editorial direction, calendars, channel strategy, and production priorities.
  • Experience building repeatable content systems, workflows, templates, approval processes, and production pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in real content workflows for research, drafting, repurposing, summarization, or optimization.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Experience interviewing and coordinating with executives, internal experts, sales teams, clients, freelancers, and contractors.
  • Experience producing long-form content such as case studies, research reports, white papers, editorial articles, thought leadership, or sales enablement content.
  • Comfort conducting qualitative interviews and turning messy input into useful content.
  • High quality standards with the ability to catch gaps, inconsistencies, weak structure, and off-brand language before publication.
  • Self-directed, organized work habits and comfort using project management tools.
  • WordPress publishing or editing experience, plus basic comfort with HTML/CSS for formatting and on-page edits.
  • Preferred: B2B, agency, or professional services experience.
  • Preferred: Exposure to performance marketing and how content supports demand generation and pipeline.
  • Preferred: Sales enablement experience creating assets that sales teams actually use.
  • Preferred: Case study experience, including identifying strong stories and shaping them into business narratives.
  • Preferred: Podcast or multimedia workflow experience.
  • Preferred: Agency award submission or PR support experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with HubSpot or a similar CMS/marketing automation platform.
  • Preferred: Experience optimizing content for AI-driven discovery platforms such as AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini.
