Description

  • Prepare, organize, and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, declarations, affidavits, recommendation letters, and related correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients in Mandarin and English to collect information, provide case updates, and respond to inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate digital case files for case tracking and document management.
  • Manage and update CRM and case management systems such as PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Docketwise, Pipefile, and Monday.com.
  • Track filing deadlines, monitor case progress, and assist with scheduling and administrative coordination.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff on case preparation, strategy, and workflow management.
  • Use legal technology and AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and case management processes.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working in U.S. immigration law.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.
  • Law degree preferred.
  • Attorney admission in any U.S. state is highly preferred but not required.
  • Experience with legal case management and CRM systems such as PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Docketwise, Pipefile, and Monday.com.
  • Strong drafting, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining close attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong proficiency in using AI tools to improve work product and efficiency is highly preferred.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
  • This is a full-time, virtual independent contractor role based in China or Taiwan with a flexible schedule and at least 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time.
